I believe in taking care of yourself so you can be the success you were made to be. You can’t take care of others if you’re feeling depleted. As an organizer, I think it’s important to invest in items that make you happy and that will last vs what’s in style right now (and only for a short season). When you buy thoughtfully, you are supporting small businesses, avoiding fast fashion, and wasting less time and money. Buy less but better quality.
Every morning starts with a cup of coffee in bed (thanks, hubby!) and this one is a new favorite. It’s bold and flavorful but not burnt or bitter. I add just a dash of heavy cream and it’s the perfect peaceful start to my day.
Sleep hygiene is a thing and I need my sleep to function with any coherence at all. These are soft, cool, and so comfortable. They get better with each wash!
I’m on my 5th planner of this style and it’s perfect for weekly and monthly planning. I need the vertical orientation for each day to schedule appointments. It’s just the way my brain works! I love all of the maps included and I use the blank pages in the back for my yearly goals and Christmas list.
This cashmere sweater is so soft it makes me crave weather cold enough to wear it! I’ve travelled in, slept in, and worn this all day with jeans and in the evening with a dressy skirt. You can’t beat the quality for the price.
5. Beauty Pie
I learned about this makeup/skincare goldmine by listening to the podcast, How I Built This, with its Founder, Marcia Kilgore. I love beauty products for a bargain and this does not disappoint.
